Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation Organizes Jabal Amman Cultural Week3 Thursday 5th May – Wednesday 11th May 2016


 Celebrating Jabal Amman’s heritage, vibrant present and future as the heart of the capital and the meeting point of diverse cultural activities; Jabal Amman Cultural Week3  is organized by Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation (AHSF) in cooperation with Jara Association under the Patronage of Greater Amman Municipality and in partnership with Jordanian Publishers, The Royal Film Commission, The Jordan National Gallery, Cervantes Institute Amman, Al Hima, Darat Al Tasweer, Nabad Art Gallery, Wadi Finan Art Gallery, Jacaranda Images,  Fada 317 Space, Studio 8, Writers’ Cell, Spring Sessions, Knowledge Path Children Library, Haya Cultural Center, ASG and Bishop school, The Islamic Educational College, Turtle Green Café, Origami Academy Jordan and with  Alghad Newspaper, Nashama FM and Play 99.6 as media partners. 

The week includes musical concerts, crafts & book fair, children’s activities, graffiti, slam poetry, musical concerts, dance and much more at Jara street Friday and Saturday and a variety of cultural activities for all ages and interests at Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation and Jabal Amman throughout the week such as musical evenings, art and photo exhibitions, choir, poetry, theater, discussions and talks in cultural centers, art galleries, creative spaces, theaters and cafés. , film screenings in the presence of the film makers: Yallah Undergroundat The Rainbow Theater  - Jordanian short films at the RFC – Short Film Debuts by Jordanian film makers at AHSF Cinema. In addition to children’s activities throughout the week at Knowledge Path children entitled “A County’s Tale” and a Mural Painting with the Jordan National Gallery
