Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation believes that culture is not a luxury but a necessity for building aware and creative societies. The Cultural Grants Program brings this vision to life, supporting and energizing the cultural and knowledge landscape in Jordan and Palestine. Since its launch in 2014, the program has empowered individuals and institutions across various fields of creativity. More than 230 entities and individuals have benefited, with total funding reaching 8 million Jordanian Dinars, impacting over 600,000 people in Jordan, Palestine, and the Arab world. Beyond financial support, we create partnerships that drive change and foster a sustainable cultural future. “Supporting Culture and Knowledge… Supporting the Drivers of Change.”

Cultural Grant Fields – 2026 Cycle

The Cultural Grants Program covers the following fields:

Literature and Arts Grants

For projects that enhance creative writing, develop artistic skills, preserve cultural heritage, and enrich Arabic content. Examples include:

• Performing Arts (Theater, Music, Dance)

• Audio-visual Arts (Films, Educational Cartoons)

• Cultural Activities and Festivals

• Heritage Preservation Projects (Stories, Cultural Heritage, and Traditions)

• Artistic and Literary Spaces (Writing Workshops, Poetry, Photography, Murals, Art Therapy)

• Support and Development of Public Libraries

Thought Leadership Grants

Investing in Education and Learning to Inspire Intellectual Growth and Leadership.

Examples include:

• Scientific research conferences with student participation

• Scientific activities (exhibitions, competitions, science fairs)

• Scientific spaces and learning applications

• Youth forums and debates
