Ajloun Cultural Days 2025

Organized by Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation in collaboration with local partners in Ajloun Governorate, the month-long program reflects the Foundation’s commitment to expanding cultural engagement and promoting knowledge and the arts across the Kingdom.

The program featured more than 40 diverse cultural activities targeting various age groups, including dedicated programs for children and youth, musical performances, scientific activities, as well as literary, artistic, and dialogue-based sessions. All activities were offered free of charge and open to the public.

The events also featured the participation of more than 15 local organizations from Ajloun Governorate, fostering greater community engagement and expanding cultural participation. Attendance exceeded 4,000 local community members.

These activities provided new opportunities for learning and exploration, reinforced the role of culture in daily life, and highlighted the Foundation’s commitment to nurturing creativity, offering accessible education spaces, and culturally empowering communities across the Kingdom.

Ma’an Cultural Days 2024

In 2024, Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation organized Ma’an Cultural Days to promote cultural equity and expand access to arts, knowledge, and learning. The initiative coincided with the opening of the Foundation’s sixth public library branch, in partnership with Ma’an Municipality.

Over four days, more than 80 cultural, artistic, intellectual, and scientific activities were offered, tailored to the needs of the local community. The events engaged 5,057 participants, achieving a 72% satisfaction rate and highlighting their positive impact.

The program involved 37 local organizations and Shoman ambassadors from Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, strengthening community engagement and ensuring lasting cultural impact. In addition, a visual identity inspired by the heritage of Ma’an, along with a promotional campaign that exceeded 2.3 million views, contributed to broadening participation.

Ma’an Cultural Days 2024 exemplifies the Foundation’s mission to make culture accessible to all, provide sustainable education spaces, and empower communities across the Kingdom.

Salt Cultural Days 2019

Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation, the cultural and social responsibility arm of Arab Bank, organized Cultural Days in Salt over four consecutive days, beginning on July 10, 2019, in collaboration with several institutions and companies.

Under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Marwan Alhmoud, the events featured cultural and artistic activities, creative workshops for children and youth, musical evenings, film screenings, and more, catering to all age groups.

The Foundation carefully curated the program to support creativity, promote artists, and offer a comprehensive cultural experience, including literary and artistic evenings, book signings, folkloric performances, and workshops for children and youth.

Irbid Cultural Days 2016

Irbid Cultural Days took place in October 2016 and were organized by Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation under the patronage of the Governor of Irbid, and in partnership with the Greater Irbid Municipality and various cultural and media institutions.

The program featured musical evenings with Jordanian artists, panel discussions, presentations on the Foundation’s initiatives, international and student-produced films, a book fair with signings, as well as theatrical, comedic, and folkloric performances. Special emphasis was placed on scientific and recreational activities for children, including science fairs and school-focused programs organized by the Knowledge Path Library team.

Aqaba Cultural Days 2015

In December 2015, Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation, in partnership with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority and in cooperation with Souq by the Sea, the National Museum of Arts, Goethe Institute, and Azbakia Amman, launched Aqaba Cultural Days.

The program offered cultural activities for all ages, including a secondhand book fair, a caricature exhibition, musical and folkloric performances, and book signings. Children’s activities organized by the Knowledge Path Library included creative workshops, scientific film screenings, mural painting in collaboration with the National Museum of Arts, and school programs. Additional highlights included presentations on the Foundation’s support and grant programs, an art exhibition, a screening of the Jordanian film Theeb, a satirical show Made in Jordan, and librarian training at the Princess Salma Park public library.

Jabal Amman Cultural Week

Celebrating Jabal Amman as a cultural hub in the heart of the Jordanian capital, Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation organizes Jabal Amman Cultural Week in partnership with the Jabal Amman Residents Association (JARA), under the patronage of the Greater Amman Municipality, and in cooperation with various cultural institutions.

The week features cultural activities for all ages and tastes, including international and Jordanian children’s films, musical and poetry evenings, seminars, a book fair with signings, children’s activities, photography and caricature exhibitions.
